When this system was banned, the game adapted. Organizers started drawing numbers from a pot, and that’s how the name “Matka” became associated with the game. In later years, legendary Matka kings like Ratan Khatri and Kalyanji Bhagat revolutionized the game, introducing fixed timings, charts, and structured formats that made Satta Matka more organized and popular across India.
